Verbs to help explain past times:
Encantar: to love

When describing something singular, conjugate it as if it were in the third box, but if its plural, conjugate as if in sixth box, with present, and preterite tense.

But how do you know who is liking the object? In front of the verb, you put one of theses. If you are meaing I:Me, You:Te, He/She:Le, We:nos, Our: os, and They: Le.

I like cats. You are saying I, so you would put Me. To like is Gustar, and to congute that, cats is plural, and it's an
-ar verb, so you would make it gustan. Cats in Spanish is gatos. Me gustan gatos.

You loved the dog. Since it is you, it is conjugated in the second box, making it te. Since it is just one dog, you would make it encantó, since it is in the preterite tense. Te encantó el perro.

Boys are fascinated in baseball. Boys, is considered as they, so you would use the subject le. Fascinated is fascinar, and baseball is singular, so you would conjugate it in the third box. Niños le son a fascina en béisbol.
Our school likes to participate in flags. It is our, so you would use the subject, os. Since it flags is considered singular, since its a sport, you would conjugate it singularly. Then find to participate, and in, in Spanish is en, make your sentence. Os escuela gusta a participar en banderas.
We loved to go fishing. Subject for we is nos. Love is encantar, but it is in the preterite tense, and fishing is singular, so you would conjugate it in the third box, for a preterite tense, -ar verb. Nos encantó ir a percando.
I am interested in music. I, is conjugated in the first box, making it turn to me. Music is singular, making interested canjuagted in third box. Me interesa en música.
