Equality
When comparing of equality, you use tan+adjective+como, verb+tanto+como, or tanto+noun+como.
Comparing Adjectives
tan+adjective+como

Her hair is as blonde than his. Hair in Spanish is pelo and su is her/his. Since her hair is as blonde, you would use tan rubio. Su pelo es tan rubio como su.

His shirt is as red as hers. Shirt in Spanish is camisa. Su camiso es tan rojo como su.
Comparing Verbs
verb+tanto+como or verb+tan+adjective+como


He trains as much as her. He in Spanish is él. Trains is entrenar. You conjugate trains in the third box. Since you have no adjectives, you would use verb+tanto+como. Él entrena tanto como su.
The tiger runs as fast as the lion. Since you are being specific to the tiger and lion, you use el/la. Runs is correr and fast is rápido. You would use verb+tanto+adjective+como, since there is an adjective in the sentence. And the adjective will always be masculine. El tigre corre tanto rápido como el león.
Comparing Nouns
Tanto+noun+como
When comparing nouns, you are going to mostly be comparing numbers(as many). You use tanto+noun+como. The tonto changes as the noun does. If it is masculine, tonto is tonto. If it is masculine plural, it is tontos. If it is feminine it is tonta and feminine plural is tontas.


I have as much money as you. You would have it be tonto, becuase money is singular and masculine. Have is tener, and tener is a "go" verb, since I is in the first box. Yo tengo tano dinero como tú.
Tom has as much apples as Bob. Has is tener, and that is a stem changer in boxes one, two, three, and six. Tonto would become tontas because apples in feminine and plural. Tom tiene tantas manzanas como Bob.

Foxy is less fat than Roxie. Less is menos. Foxy es menos gordo que Roxie.
Steve is taller than Dave. Saying "taller" is the same as saying more tall. So you would use más. Steve es más alto que Dave.
Verbs

Jaz dances less than Jack. Less means you use menos. Jaz menos baila que Jack.
The cheetah runs more than the boy. Since it's saying more you use más. Guepardo is cheetah. El guepardo más corre que el niño.
Nouns
más/menos+verb+que


Just like with equality,when comparing nouns with inequality you are comparing the amount of something.
I have more cats than him. Have means tener, which is a "go" verb. Cats is gato. Yo tengo más gatos que él.
Taylore has less money than Wes. Less means you use menos. Has is the same as have, which is tener, but tener is an e-ie stem changer. Taylore tiene menos dinero que Wes.
